The Art Of Reconciliation
A Documentary Film by Adam Radly
"The Art of Reconciliation" is a documentary by Adam Radly that includes a never before seen speech from Nelson Mandela about reconciliation (made at an event organized by Adam Radly). It also explores how reconciliation can be used by regular people to reconcile with people in their own lives, how reconciliation can be used by Republicans and Democrats to create a less divisive political environment and how reconciliation can be applied to global conflicts.
The film also includes never before seen tributes to Nelson Mandela from Henry Kissinger, Sam Jackson, Jack Nicklaus, George Lucas, Ray Charles, Morgan Freeman and two former Australia Prime Ministers among others.
The steps of reconciliation:
1. Intend to reconcile before starting the process.
2. Acknowledge your actions.
3. Acknowledge the pain caused by your actions.
4. Apologize - and mean it.
5. Give yourself permission to move on.
Reconciliation - The Project
This project is not just a documentary. We will be promoting reconciliation on an ongoing basis and we will be reminding people to pursue reconciliation on September 8 each year. September 8 is the anniversary of World Reconciliation Day
We will be collecting data and stories about examples of reconciliation, both big and small, on an ongoing basis and use it to promote reconciliation.
